WARNING:
Before connecting the Emitter to the auxiliary power supply,
always check that the network voltage is compatible with the
maximum voltage indicated on the Emitter :
140 V AC for the LOCAT E 110
440 V AC for the LOCAT E 220
Connection
When connecting the Emitter the user selects the circuit, the cable he
wants to work on. Connection consists of two procedures. First of all
connect the two leads to the safety terminals of the Emitter. Only now
connect to the selected live circuit.

Operational test

Connect the Emitter to a socket in the circuit to be tested.
The red light should start to flash. This shows that the
circuit is live and the Emitter is working.
For a non-live circuit see in «Applications» Chapter, the
use of the Emitter E110 with a 9 V battery.
Note : on DC supply, if the red incator doesn't flash the
polarity is wrong, reverse the leads.
NB : If the fuse is blown the test light doesn't work. In this
case, see the chapter "Changing the fuse".
