Cleaning and storage
ATTENTION!
❐ Burn hazard attributed to hot device parts and accessories! Let the device and ac-
cessories cool off each time before you clean them.
❐ Danger of electrocution! Always disconnect the mains plug from the socket and pull the
thermostat plug out of the device before cleaning. Never submerge the device, the cord, and
the plug in water or other liquids. Never place the device in the dishwasher.
❐ The device and the accesories are not dishwasher safe.
❐ When cleaning, do not use any scouring or abrasive cleaners. They could damage the surface.
Do not use any metallic objects.
❐ Never pour the used fat down the drain. Let it cool off and dispose of it together with your
household garbage in accordance with local regulations.
1. Ensure that the device has completely COOLED DOWN and is deactivated!
2. Scoop used fat/oil into a suitable container and dispose of it in an environmentally-friendly
manner. Used cooking oils and fats are not sewage.
3. Remove as much leftover chocolate or cheese with paper towels as you can.
4. Clean the fondue pot, the fondue forks and the fork ring holder with hot water and a mild
detergent. Let all parts dry completely.
5. Stow the device and accessories out of the reach of children and animals. Store it in a dry
area not exposed to direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
If the device is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself fi rst. Otherwise contact customer service.
