Use
ATTENTION!
❐ Fire hazard! The device is very hot during use and afterwards! When setting up the device,
make sure you choose an area with enough free space around the device so as to prevent
heat accumulations.
❐ Risk of injury! When removing the fondue forks from the hot fondue pot, be careful to
avoid burns.
❐ Risk of injury! Oil/fat, cheese and chocolate become very hot when preparing the fondue!
Be careful when handling the pot if the contents are hot. Make sure that the pot does not get
knocked around. Wear kitchen gloves when handling the fondue pot.
❐ Risk of injury! The fondue pot becomes hot during use! Only hold the pot by the handles!
❐ Never connect the device to the power supply when empty!
❐ Never leave the device unattended when operating in order to prevent damage to property,
the device itself and injury to persons, e.g. caused by fi re.
❐ Do not overfi ll the fondue pot! The pot should never be fi lled more than 2/3 full with oil,
chocolate or cheese to prevent it from spraying or foaming over.
❐ Never operate the device without oil/chocolate/cheese.
❐ Fats and oils may catch fi re if overheated. Be careful when handling fats and oils. Never pour
water in hot fat or oil!
❐ Only use fats and oils for the fondue that are suitable for being heated, e.g. sunfl ower oil!
Observe the manufacturer's notes on the label.
❐ Do not mix different kinds of oils as this may cause the fondue pot to overfl ow!
❐ Used cooking oils and fats should not be disposed of via sewage lines. Dispose of cooking fat
and oil in the household garbage.
❐ Slowly heat chocolate and cheese to a moderate temperature to prevent them from burning!
Chocolate and cheese should not boil and should only be heated to their melting point.
❐ Do not insert foods packed in clingfi lm or plastic bags in the device.
The fondue set is suitable for preparing fondue with cooking oil, chocolate or CHEESE. Please
observe the notes in the sections "Fondue with oil", "Cheese fondue" and "Chocolate fondue"
for the different fondue types.
1. Prepare the ingredients for your fondue and cut them into bite-size pieces.
2. Place the device on a dry, heat-resistant and level surface at a suffi cient distance to fl ammable
objects, spraying water and heat sources. Please ensure that the device is not accessible for
children or animals.
3. Fill the fondue pot with oil, chocolate or cheese. Do not overfi ll the pot, the pot may not be
fi lled to more than 2/3.
4. Insert the thermostat plug in the jack on the device.
5. Connect the device to a properly installed socket, which corresponds to the device's techni-
cal data (see chapter "Technical data").
6. Set the temperature control on the thermostat plug to the desired temperature. The power
light turns on as soon as the device heats up.
