Use

• If your tin has an opening ring, open the bottom of the tin with the tin opener
and not the top.
• The cutting blade will not work if it is not properly positioned on the edge of
the tin.
• The tin opener cuts on the tin lid edge. This prevents sharp edges from forming!
4. Take the tin opener off of the tin. The lid will be removed directly by the magnet on
the bottom of the tin opener.

Cleaning and storage

ATTENTION!
■ Risk of injury! The cutting blade is sharp!
■ Before cleaning the cutting blade, take the batteries out of the tin opener.
■ Do not use any scouring or abrasive cleaners or cleaning pads to clean the product.
■ The product is not suitable for the dishwasher!
• If needed, clean the cutting blade and the casing with a damp cloth and if necessary,
using a small amount of cleaner. Then dry them with a soft cloth.
• Store the product in a dry, clean area that is not accessible to children.

Troubleshooting

If the device stops working properly, fi rst check whether you are able to correct the
problem yourself.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!

1. Place the cutting blade on the edge of the tin from
the outside as shown. For this, the tin opener must
be located on the lid (see fi gure).
2. Push the On/Off button. The motor will activate and
the tin opener will cut open the lid.
3. Once the cutting blade has run around the edge of
the tin, the motor may be deactivated. For this, push
the On/Off button again.
