Do not move the device when in use.
❐ ATTENTION Burn hazard! Water that comes in contact with hot oil may cause it to
spray. For this reason, make sure that no water or other liquids drip into the oil.
❐ ATTENTION Burn hazard! Only remove the oil/cheese/chocolate once they have cooled
off completely.
❐ ATTENTION Danger of electrocution! Never immerse the device and cord in water or
other liquids. If the device falls in water, immediately disconnect the power supply.
❐ ATTENTION Fire hazard! Do not cover the device during operation to prevent a risk of
fi re. Make sure the room is adequately ventilated when the device is in use.
❐ ATTENTION Fire hazard! Do not place any fl ammable materials or materials, which melt
readily, (e.g. cardboard, plastic, paper or candles) on or in the device.
❐ Always fi rst turn off the device by setting the temperature control to the OFF position be-
fore you insert the mains plug in the socket or pull the mains plug out of the socket.
❐ Remove the power plug from the socket
– if you are not using the device,
– if a fault occurs during operation,
– before a storm,
– before you clean it.
❐ If you wish to pull the mains plug out of the socket, never pull on the cable, but always on
the plug.
❐ Never touch the device, the cable or the plug with wet hands.
❐ Only use the enclosed accessories from the manufacturer. All warranty claims are forfeited if
accessories are used, which are not authorised by the manufacturer.

Warranty conditions

Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or attempts at repair are excluded from the
warranty. This also applies to normal wear and tear.
