Note: The power light turns on when in use and turns off at regular intervals. If the
power light illuminates, the device will heat up and the heating process is interrupt-
ed when the power light turns off. This process ensures that the set temperature
is kept constant.
7. Place the fork ring holder on the fondue pot.
8. Now skewer the food that you would like to cook or coat in the fondue pot with the fondue
forks and hold them in the hot oil or dip them in the melted chocolate or melted cheese.
9. After use, set the temperature control to the OFF position.
10. First pull the mains plug out of the socket and then the thermostat plug out of the fondue
device.
11. Let the device cool off completely before you clean it as described in the chapter "Cleaning
and storage".

Fondue with oil

Set the temperature control to the highest setting if you would like to prepare a classic meat
fondue with oil.
Do not use different types of oil at the same time.
When selecting your oil, please pay attention to the manufacturer's instructions on the label.
Oils that are suitable for frying (such as sunfl ower oil) are ideal for preparing fondue.
You can prepare meat, fi sh and vegetables with classic fondue. In the process, the raw meat,
raw fi sh or raw vegetables are cooked in hot oil.

Cheese fondue

Set the temperature control to a moderate setting so that the cheese can melt slowly. Make
sure that the cheese does not boil or bubble to prevent it from burning.
Make sure that the cheese does not boil to prevent hot cheese from accidentally spraying
out of the pot.
Stir the cheese from time to time to prevent it from burning on to the bottom of the pot.
With cheese fondue, vegetables or bread are dipped in the melted cheese and then con-
sumed. The ingredients are not cooked! If you would like to serve meat or fi sh with the
cheese fondue, they should be cooked/fried through!

Chocolate fondue

Set the temperature control to a moderate setting so that the chocolate can melt slowly.
Make sure that the chocolate does not boil or bubble to prevent it from burning.
Make sure that the chocolate does not boil to prevent hot chocolate from accidentally spray-
ing out of the pot.
Stir the chocolate from time to time to prevent it from burning on to the bottom of the pot.
With chocolate fondue, fruits such as strawberries, bananas or grapes are dipped in the
melted chocolate.
