Before fi rst use
ATTENTION!
❐ Keep children and animals away from the packaging. Danger of suffocation exists!
1. Unpack the device and remove all protective foils and stickers. Make sure that the product
contents are complete (see chapter "Product contents and device overview") and check
for any damages from transport. Should you identify any transport damage, do not use the
device(!); instead please promptly consult the customer service.
2. There may be some production residues stuck to the device. To prevent health risks, clean
the fondue pot and the fondue forks thoroughly before fi rst use (see chapter "Cleaning and
storage").

3. Screw the handles on the fondue pot:
– Four pins for the handles are located on
the bottom of the fondue pot. Mount the
handles on the pins as shown in the image.
Make sure that you mount the handles so
that the connector jack for the thermo-
stat plug "protrudes" from the side of the
handle.
– Screw the handles tight using the enclosed
fastening material (screws and spring
washers, see image). Make sure that the
handles are correctly screwed in place.
