5.1.2 Multi-circuit ignition system with dual-spark ignition coils
(DFS)
F1: Changeover of measuring mode between secondary
oscillogram (pick-off of measured values with secondary
sensor) and primary oscillogram (pick-off of measured
values with green clips).
F2: Changeover between parade representation (the „parade"
corresponds to the representation of the complete ignition
curve „Σ" or display of the red and/or black secondary
sensor) and individual representation of each cylinder.
F3: Call of subprogram: „Picture adjustment" to change the
X-deflection (time axis), the Y-amplification and the picture
position (picture displacement upward or downward).

Only activated when the individual picture representation is
selected:
F4: Call of subprogram: To set the pretrigger to displace the
picture or the start of the picture on the X-axis. See
Section 5.4.2.
F5/6: To select the individual cylinders according to firing order
for individual picture representation.

F5/6: Secondary: To select whether the secondary signal is
picked off the red and the black secondary sensor
simultaneously „Σ" or one from the red or black secondary
sensors.
Primary: To select whether the primary signal is picked off
all primary inputs or just from one ignition circuit each. The
representation on the oscilloscope in the X-deflection
occurs in the case of 4-stroke engines in 720° crankshaft.
