5.1 Unpacking and setting up
• Permissible temperature changes of the unit environment and of the bath liquid: Non-condensing, i.e. no condensate forming on the unit
surfaces. A table specifying the dew points based on the initial temperature of the unit environment and the humidity is available from the manufacturer
upon request. Dew point: Temperature below which condensation occurs.
• Indoor operation only
• Operation at max. 2000m above sea level
5.2 Connecting unit to power mains
Required mains conditions
The connection conditions must match the technical specifications on the rating plate. See also Technical Data (chapter 4.6).
Connecting mains cable
The unit may only be connected to an earthed CEE 7/3 socket.
The mains plug may only be connected to an easily accessible socket as it is considered a disconnecting device!

6 START-UP

6.1 Filling with cleaning liquid
Removing mains plug
Attention! For safety reasons, always remove the mains plug before filling the unit with cleaning liquid.
Closing liquid drain
Close the liquid drain before filling the tank.
Observing fill level
Before switching on the unit, fill the cleaning tank with an adequate amount of suitable liquid. Observe the fill level mark in the tank.
If the fill level of the tank drops below the minimum value, the red Level LED (Fig. 4.10.1) on the operating panel lights up and the unit switches off
automatically.
Permissible cleaning liquids
Fill the cleaning tank only with aqueous cleaning liquids. When selecting the cleaning chemicals, always pay attention to their suitability for ultrasonic
application, dosage and material compatibility.
Non-permissible cleaning liquids
Flammable cleaning liquids are not permissible. Observe the safety information in chapter 7 (cleaning liquids).
Fire and explosion hazard!
Flammable liquids, such as solvents, must never be used directly in the ultrasonic cleaning tank.
Danger
Use the cleaning liquids listed in chapter 7.3.
i
Ultrasound increases the evaporation of the liquids and forms very fine mist which can ignite at ignition sources at any time.
Observe the information on further restrictions in chapter 7.1.
