2.2 Safety information on using the unit
Mains connection
For safety reasons, the unit may only be connected to a properly earthed power socket. The technical specifications on the
rating plate must match the connection conditions available on site. In particular the mains voltage and the connected load.
Placement
Set up the unit at a dry location with adequate ventilation for discharging the vapours of the cleaning liquid.
Keep the set-up surface, housing and operating controls dry. Protect against ingress of moisture!
Preventing electrical accidents
For filling, maintenance and care of the unit, if suspecting ingress of liquid, in case of operating malfunctions, and after use, disconnect the mains plug.
Electrically skilled persons only may open the unit!
Cleaning liquid
Use only aqueous cleaning liquids with this unit.
Fire and explosion hazard! Never expose flammable liquids to direct ultrasonic irradiation in the cleaning tank.
Hot surfaces and liquids
Risk of burns and scalding! Depending on the running time of the unit, the unit surfaces, cleaning liquid, cleaning basket and
items being cleaned can become very hot.
Hot steam
During operation at very high bath temperatures, opening the unit cover can cause hot steam to escape at the front.
Move unit only if empty
Do not move the unit while it is filled, obstacles could cause it to tip over.
Noise emission
Ultrasonic units can cause unpleasant hearing sensations under certain circumstances.
Use personal hearing protection when you are in the vicinity of an ultrasonic unit operated without a cover.

2.2 Safety information on using the unit
Sound transmission on touch
Do not reach into the cleaning liquid during operation or touch the parts carrying ultrasound (tank, basket, items to be cleaned etc.).

3. FACTS ABOUT ULTRASONIC CLEANING

3.1 Functional principle
Ultrasonic cleaning is today's most advanced fine-cleaning method.
The high-frequency electrical energy generated by an ultrasonic generator is converted into mechanical energy by piezoelectric vibration systems
and transmitted to the bath liquid.
This creates millions of microscopic vacuum bubbles that practically implode due to the pressure fluctuations caused by the
ultrasound. This creates high-energy liquid "jets" that remove dirt particles from surfaces and even from the smallest
grooves and openings of the immersed items.
i
The success of the cleaning depends primarily on four factors:
Physical energy
Ultrasonic energy is considered the most efficient means of mechanical impact on the cleaning process. The energy must be transmitted by a liquid
medium onto the surfaces to be cleaned. These units are equipped with the innovative sweep technology: Electronic oscillations of the sound field "sweep"
the ultrasound bath and reduce low-power zones.
Cleaning agent
The saponification and removal of the dirt particles require a suitable cleaning agent. We offer an extensive range of cleaners.
Temperature
The effectiveness of the cleaner is enhanced by using the optimal temperature for the liquid.
