PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
The DP300 allows 60 different programs to be stored in its internal memory. With the use of the dp:lab
software included with the DP300, programs can be stored in the computer hard drive. Programs can be
stored, recalled, modified, protected, etc. The basic program management functions are:
1. Storing programs
2. Recalling programs
3. Deleting programs
1. Storing programs
The DP300 has a SAVE/ENTER key that allows saving programs to its internal memory. Pressing this
key brings you to following screen:
SAVE
10 ECLER
where 10 is the program number and "ECLER" is the program name. The characters at the cursor
position can be changed by using the PREVIOUS and NEXT keys or the encoder wheel. The cursor can
be moved left and right by pressing the ◄ and ► keys. The name can be made up of up to 8 characters.
To exit the "SAVE" mode, press the RECALL key.
The program gets stored by pressing the SAVE/ENTER key again. At that point, following screen
appears, asking if the program should be locked.
Store Locked?
Locked
The word "Locked" and the symbol of a key are shown. If the program should be stored and locked,
press the SAVE/ENTER key again. Otherwise, turn the encoder or press the ► key so that the word
"Unlocked" appears, indicating that the program will be stored unlocked.
In case you attempt to store previously locked program, following screen will appear during several
seconds,
Program Locked!
10 ECLER
Indicating that the program is already locked. It can be unlocked by turning the encoder wheel or by
pressing the ► key and saved as explained above.
2. Recalling programs
By pressing the RECALL key, programs stored in the processor internal memory can be recalled. The
first program to appear is always the last one used.
