DSP Resources
The DP300 employs 2 DSP chips. The equalizers and crossover filters share the resources of both
DSPs, so that certain assignment limitations must be considered, as following table shows:
DSP
DSP 1
DSP 2
* The equalizer of the outputs 3 to 6 (OUT3-OUT6) can either be executed by DSP1 or DSP2.
Nevertheless, first all resources of DSP2 are used up before using DSP1.
As a summary, consider following facts:
DSP1 features 18 filters.
-
DSP2 features 20 filters.
-
The Xover filters for outputs OUT1&OUT2 are executed by DSP1.
-
The Xover filters for outputs OUT3-6 are executed by DSP1.
-
All input equalizers are executed by DSP1.
-
All output equalizers for outputs OUT1&OUT2 are executed by DSP1.
-
The equalizers for output 3-6 are executed by either DSP.
