Cleaning the air filter, Fig. 12
Clean the air filter after 50 operating hours. Should the
filter be worn, replace it.
1. Remove the air filter casing A).
2. Remove the foam filter.
3. Wash it with detergent and water and dry it thoroughly
using a clean cloth.
4. Sprinkle the foam filter with clean engine oil.
5. Afterwards, squeeze the air filter in a clean, absorbent
cloth thoroughly to remove the excess oil.
6. Replace the air filter.
7. Mount the air filter cover again.
When do I have to change the engine oil? Fig. 13
The oil has to be replaced after every 50 operating hours
and the engine has to be switched off and the device
should still be warm. To this end, start the engine for a
short while, if required.
Place a suitable collecting container with a volume of
at least 1 litre under the oil drain plug (A).
First open the oil drain plug (A) and then the oil filler
neck (B) and drain off the entire engine oil using a
suitable hose or pipe.
Close the oil drain plug (A) again and fill 0.6 litres of
fresh engine oil into the oil filler neck (B).
Afterwards, check the oil level using the oil dipstick
(B) and adjust the oil level, if required.
Recommended engine oil
SAE 10W-30 or SAE 10W-40 (depending on the ope-
rating/ambient temperature).

The two shaft bearings have to be lubricated on the lu-
bricating nipples (A) using bearing grease, before the
device is put into operation.
