Cleaning and care
∙ Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply and has cooled down completely.
∙ To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the appliance with liquids or immerse it.
∙ Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaning solutions.
∙ Clean the main unit by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
∙ Clean the inside of the mixing bowl under running water. Do not immerse the lower part of the bowl in water.
∙ The bowl is not dishwasher-safe.
∙ All other detachable parts may be cleaned in hot, soapy water or in the dishwasher.
∙ We recommend removing the blade from the bowl after each cycle of use and cleaning it thoroughly.
∙ If necessary, the blade may be cleaned with the cleaning brush provided. Caution: The blade is extremely sharp. (see diagram
'Cleaning the blade' below)
∙ The detachable sealing gaskets on the blade unit and the lid should also be removed and cleaned regularly.
∙ When processing strongly coloured foods or spices, such as curry, turmeric or carrots, all plastic parts of the appliance should be
rinsed immediately to prevent discolouring.
∙ The contacts underneath the mixing bowl must be kept clean and dry at all times. Any food residue must be removed immediately.
