5. Safety Notes

Read the operating instructions attentively and particularly observe the safety notes. If the safety
notes and the information in these operating instructions regarding proper handling are not ob-
served, we assume no liability for any resulting injury/property damage. In such cases, the war-
ranty/guarantee will also lapse.
• The surveillance camera must only be connected to a stabilised direct current voltage of 12 V/DC. The
inner contact of the low-voltage round plug must conduct plus/+, the outer contact minus/-.
• The product is not a toy. Keep it away from children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dangerous toy for children.
• The product is suitable for indoor and outdoor use (IP66). However, it must never be operated in or under
water; it would be destroyed by this.
• The connection plugs at the surveillance camera's connection cable are not water-proof or water-tight
and therefore must be in a dry indoor area or protected accordingly.
• Ensure that the connection cable is not crushed, bent or damaged by sharp edges.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures direct sunlight, strong vibrations, flammable gases, va-
pours and solvents.
• Handle the product with care. Impact, blows or falls from even a low height will damage the product.
• Do not subject the product to heavy mechanical stress.
• Also observe the safety notes and operating instructions of the other devices to which the product is
connected.
