The line current detector recognizes the switch-on process of the connected electrosurgery or laser surgery
device and prevents fan activation for the set time.
The line current detection function is not active until the power consumption of the connected surgical
device is below the switch-off threshold for the set delay time or 30 s after the electrosurgery or laser
surgery device has been switched on.
Example
A switch-on delay time of 10 s has been configured.
The surgical device permanently lowers its power consumption below the activation threshold 5 s after
switching on.
The line current detector allows fan activation 10 s after the power consumption has dropped below the
switch-off threshold.
If the electrosurgery or laser surgery device is activated during the 10-second waiting phase, the delay time
is extended by a further 10 s.
The line current detector accepts fan activation no later than 30 seconds after the surgical device has been
switched on.
Increase the switch-on delay step-by-step if the fan starts automatically when the surgical device is
switched on.
