If the fan of the marVac
Repeat the calibration process. See section 5.3, "Calibration," page 47. If this does not produce the
desired improvement: Increase the L-parameter step by step.
If the line current detector does not activate the fan, even though the connected electrosurgery or laser
surgery device is activated: Reduce the L parameter step by step.
Electro-coagulation currents may require tissue contact to activate the marVac

consumption; a larger L parameter (>20%) can be selected for devices with a low power consumption.
Large L parameters reduce the probability of unwanted fan activation.
