does not exceed 10 A! The smoke evacuator and the connected electrosurgery or laser surgery device
must be operated via 2 separate mains supplies.

marVac® / maXium® smart Vac iDetect external line current detector
• The line current detector is attached to the back of the
®
marVac
/maXium smart Vac using the four Phillips
screws (1) provided.
This requires the plastic plugs in the thread grooves to
be removed first.
• Connect the MCB connection cable (2) to the 9-pin Sub-
D socket (marked with MCB) of the smoke evacuator.
This cable supplies the power for the line current
detector
and
communications
evacuator.
• Plug the non-heating device cable (3) located on the line
current detector into the non-heating device socket of
the electrosurgery or laser surgery device.
