d) The first landing
As with the start, the landing must always take place against the wind. Reduce the motor performance and fly in big flat circles. Do not pull too hard on the
elevator in order to be able to reduce the flying altitude selectively. Select the last curve before the approach for a landing so that in case of an emergency you
would have sufficient room for landing and so that you would not have to effect considerable corrections to the course during the approach for a landing.
When the model is flying on the planned landing line, reduce the motor speed further and hold it horizontal with the elevator. Now the model must loose height
further and must fly towards the planned touch-down point at the end of the imaginary landing line. In this critical flying phase, ensure sufficient flying speed and
do not slow down the model by pulling too hard on the elevator. It is only shortly before the touch-down that you should stop the motors and land the model with
fully drawn elevator.
Our tip:
If when flying for the first time you feel confident as to the steering of the model, you should immediately practice the approach for a landing. First start at a
sufficient height. This means that you fly a big loop against the wind and fly over the imaginary landing line. Once you are in control of the approach for landing
in safety height, reduce the motor performance according to the description above and carry out the over-flight by slowly decreasing the altitude. When flying
over the planned landing point, the motor performance is increased again and the model is "pulled up" again for the landing approach. After a few approach tests,
you can carry out the landing.
After the landing, you can re-adjust, if necessary, the linkages for the rudder and the elevator so that the model flies in a straight line and that the trim lever at the
transmitter is in the centre position again.

11. Care and Maintenance

The exterior of the system should only ever be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Never use abrasive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these could
damage the surfaces of the housings.
Regularly check the drive and steering functions on your model. If foam parts of the model must be re-glued after a hard landing, use either PVA, 5 min. epoxy
resin or a superglue that is suitable for hard foam/Styropor®. Avoid glues which contain solvent.
If the exchange of complete components is necessary, then only use original manufacturer's replacement parts.

12. Disposal

a) General information
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries
You, as end user are under legal obligation (Battery Regulation) to take back all used batteries and rechargeable batteries, to dispose of them via
domestic waste is not permitted.
Contaminated batteries/rechargeable batteries are labelled with these symbols to indicate that disposal in domestic waste is forbidden. The
designations for the relevant heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (name on battery/rechargeable battery, e.g. under the trash
icons on the left).
You can return used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge to any collecting point in your local community, in our stores or in any other
store where batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
