Removing the Sling

In Chair/Wheelchair (11 steps)
1. Apply the brakes on the wheelchair.
2. Position the patient with the his/her back
against the chair/wheelchair. Open up the lift
legs on
(See Fig. 10 )
WARNING
To avoid injury to the patient, pay close
attention when lowering or adjusting the
spreader bar.
3. Lower the patient into the chair/wheelchair.

positioned all the way in against the chair/

• Detach the leg straps from the Sara 3000/
, if needed.
• Open and pull them out
from under the patient's legs.
• Tuck the leg straps backwards
along the patient's side.
8. Remove the patient's feet from the foot
support.
9. Move the

10. Open the sling support belt.
11. Lean the patient forward and remove the sling
from behind the patient. (See Fig. 12 )
