Mounting the sensor

Screw sensor to suitable holder e.g. type MS F 50 or MSP F 50* (not included in delivery) using the fixing holes.
Fit the sensor in a place where the distance to the object is as constant as possible (little variation in scanning
distance).
INFORMATION
Observe the following operating conditions:
• The distance to the object must be within the sensor's scanning distance (see technical data)
• The direction of movement of the object should be cross-wise to the sensor's front screen
(illustr. 6+7).
• With strongly reflective or shiny surfaces, incline the sensor by approx. 10-30° in relation to
the surface of the object (illustr. 8).
• In transmitted light mode, RF 10C * reflective foil should be fitted opposite the colour sensor
so that the light beam hits the centre of the foil (illustr. 9).

CAUTION
In the case of strong vibrations (shocks / oscillations), the sensor must be given constructive
protection from damage.
