between the top side of the heater and the ceiling, roof, etc. must be at least 0.3
metre. However, if the ceiling or roof is made of flammable material (e.g.,
canvas), then the minimum distance is 1 metre. On both sides of the appliance,
the minimum distance to walls, etc. must be 0.5 metre. If you mount the
appliance outdoors, then make sure that it is not situated where it gets direct
wind.
Ceiling or wall mounting
Drill two (2) holes in the ceiling or the wall
according to the measurements shown in
the illustration above. Insert two (2) cotter
bolts in the holes. Use a key to turn the
nuts on the cotter bolts, so that they are
firmly positioned in the holes. Unscrew the
nuts and put the nuts and the washers and
spring rings aside for later use.
Place the wall / ceiling brackets on the
ceiling or wall. Put the two (2) cotter bolts
through the holes in the brackets and
tighten them with the washers, spring rings
and nuts.
Position the hanging brackets on the rear
side of the heater. Tighten this firmly with
the M6*8 crosshead screws.
Mount the entire appliance on the wall /
ceiling brackets using the M6*10 socket
screws. Use an Allen key for this purpose.
Setting the heating angle
Set the desired heating angle: the heater
can turn 2 x 30°. To do this, slightly loosen
the M6*10 socket screws and after setting,
tighten them again.
When mounting the TH1800R on the
wall, do not direct it upwards! This

ceiling!
Now tighten all the screws once again and check whether the apparatus is
positioned firmly. Your infrared heater is now
For personal protection the installation, to which the EUROM TH1800R is

Under some circumstances it may be attractive to make a fast connection between
the heater and the main supply, and to operate the heater with a switch. Because
