MOUNTING OF INLET/
EXHAUST HOSE
+RVH OHQJWK ZLWK URRI ÀXH PLQ DQG
max. 3.5 m.
+RVH OHQJWK ZLWK ZDOO ÀXH PLQ DQG
max. 2.0 m.
Measure and cut the required length of
inlet hose (Ø 75 mm). The exhaust hose
(Ø 50 mm) should be cut off so it becomes
approximately 50 mm longer than the suc-
tion hose.
Applies to hose lengths over 1 m.
Note that the hoses will go on to the hose
sleeves 20 mm.
Push the exhaust hose into the inlet hose.
First mount the exhaust hose

hose clip ( B,C 13).
Then put on the inlet hose (B,C 14) and
tighten with the other hose clip (B,C 15).
After that, mount the hoses in the same
way on the boiler. Staple the hose (B 16)
on c/c 600mm or equivalent.
NB! Check the lay to ensure that water
cannot be retained in the inlet/exhaust
hose.
MOUNTING OF EXPANSION
TANK
Mount the expansion tank at least
200 mm higher than the highest point of
the heating system or boiler. If the expan-
sion tank is mounted in a wardrobe for
example, Alde's protective housing should
be mounted around the expansion tank.
This will stop accidental splashes coming
in contact with clothing. Leave a space of
at least 220mm above the expansion tank
for topping up and service.
Fit the expansion vessel using the screws
and support rings (D 16) supplied. If a

vessel it is a sucking pump and incoming
hoses shall therefore always be connec-
ted to the pipe underneath the pump and
outgoing hoses to the pipe alongside (see
¿J '
The air vent hose (D 17) shall be assem-
bled vertically upwards and clamped down
so that creases cannot form in the hose.
The drainage hose (D 18) shall be
mounted so that it goes the shortest route
from the expansion tank out through the

at a 30º angle from the direction of travel
under the vehicle.
After the heating system has been

mounted (D 19) in the tank, and secured
down with the nut (D 20).
CONNECTION TO THE
HEATING SYSTEM
The LPG boiler's connection pipe to the
heating system (Ø 22 mm) is located on
the side of the boiler. Red marking for

incoming return pipe (F 22).
Use assembly set with automatic bleeder
and automatic circulation stop for mount-
ing on the boiler. Connect the outgoing
pipe with the rubber T pipe (F 23). The
draining hose (F 25) from the bleeder

cle. The hose shall be cut obliquely at a
30° angle from the direction of travel.

must be connected on the return pipe.
The rubber connections must be secured
with band clips.
A thin layer of Permatex Form-a-Gasket
no. 3 should be applied to the joints to
seal them between the rubber connec-
tions.
N.B. The heating system reaches a high
temperature when running. The heating
pipes should be insulated or built in to pre-
vent the driver or passenger from getting
in contact with them during the journey.
NB! Copper pipes, joints or water stor-
age tanks should not be used in the
system. Aluminium pipes alone are
best. Do not mix different metals as
this can give rise to serious corrosion
damage.
CONNECTION TO THE
FRESH-WATER SYSTEM
In order that the warm water heater shall
function, it must be connected to the vehi-
cle's fresh water system.
The fresh water connections are located
on both sides of the boiler. Blue marking
for incoming cold fresh water and red for
outgoing warm water.
A safety valve must always be connected
to the warm water heater. Safety valves
are available in two different models (see
section on Hot Water Heater). If incom-
ing pressure to the warm water heater
exceeds 0.3 MPa (3 bar) a pressure
reducing valve must be installed. The
pressure reducing valve shall be installed
with a maximum of 0.3 MPa (3 bar) and
have a minimum capacity of
5 dm³/min.
External safety valve with built-in
drain

hose into the heater.

Mount the hose connection (F 26) on the
incoming nipple. Connect the safety/drain
valve to the hose connection.
NB! The safety/drain valve must not be
mounted higher than the hose connection.
After that, mount the angle connection
with built-in bleed valve on outgoing con-
nection (F 27).
This shall be mounted in the same way
as the hose connection. Mount the bleed
hose (F 28) on the valve's hose sleeve,
and then pull the hose out through the

a 30° angle from the direction of travel
under the vehicle. The hose must not be
blocked.
Only use genuine Alde valves.
LPG CONNECTION
Remove the protective cap from the gas
pipe on the boiler (F 29).
Make the LPG installation to the boiler
with an 8 mm pipe connection and con-
nect to the boiler's gas pipe with clamp
ring connections.
When laying the pipe, remember that the
boiler has to be dismounted for service.
The boiler should be connected to an
LPG cylinder with type-approved pressure
reducing valve and a pressure of
30 mbar.
NB! National regulations must be
adhered to when installing LPG.
