3. Programming the transmitter
Caution
When programming the transmitter, ensure that the range of travel of
the folding-arm awning is unobstructed, as it may extend immediately.
Note
Before programming the SC211, a master transmitter (e.g., SWC241)
must be programmed to the receiver (e.g., tubular drive R30/17PSF(+))
and the limit positions must be programmed.
The SC211 is supported by Becker tubular drives (Ø45,Ø58) types
PSF(+) and PSEF from series no. (Ser.Nr.) 0902... onwards.
Programming the SC211
The SC211 has an integrated radio transmitter.
1) After programming the master transmitter, set the wind threshold to the high-
est possible setting, since high values may be detected by the SC211 due to
the handling during installation. Accordingly, this may lead to an undesired
retraction of the awning.
2) Open the SC211.
3) Press the programming button of the master transmitter until the receiver
confirms.
4) Press the programming button of the SC211 until the receiver confirms.
5) Now press the programming button of the SC211 to be programmed again
until the receiver confirms.
6) Close the SC211.
7) Now set the wind threshold as described in Section "4. Setting the
thresholds".
The maximum radio range on and in the building is 10 m and in the open field
100 m.
