Circuit breaker
For the version Professional + E 7,4 / 22 observe the fol-
lowing:
The required circuit breaker must be incorporated in the
indoor installation.
The device must protected with a line
circuit breaker rated at 32 A or less with
C-characteristics.
The circuit breaker must be dimensioned
with due consideration of the name plate, the
required charging power, and the supply line
(line length, cable cross-section) for the char-
ging station in accordance with the national
regulations.
One circuit breaker is required for each char-
ging point.
Residual current device
For the version Professional + E 7,4 / 22 observe the fol-
lowing:
The required residual current device must be incor-
porated in the indoor installation (in accordance with
IEC 60364-7-722 (in Germany in accordance with
DIN VDE 0100-722)).
The device has a differential current sensor
for DC residual current monitoring > 6 mA
with tripping characteristics in accordance
with IEC 62752.
At least one dedicated type B residual cur-
rent circuit breaker has to protect the device
if it is subject to the scope of IEC 60364-7-
722:2018.
At least one dedicated type A residual cur-
rent circuit breaker has to protect the device
if it is subject to the scope of HD 60364-7-
722:2016.
No other circuits may be connected to this
residual current circuit breaker.
Compliance with national regulations is man-
datory.

Shunt release
For the version Professional + E 7,4 / 22 observe the fol-
lowing:
f Check whether a shunt release is legally prescribed in
the country of use.
Î "2.2 Intended use"
The required shunt release must be incorporated in the
indoor installation.
The shunt release must be positioned next to
the circuit breaker.
The shunt release and the circuit breaker
must be compatible with each other.
5.4 Opening the device

When delivered, the front enclosure part (2) is not atta-
ched with screws. The screws (1) are stored in the enclo-
sed accessory bag.
f Switch off the power supply.
f Unscrew screws (1) if necessary.
f Remove the upper enclosure part (2).
f Unscrew screws (3) and swing the front panel (4)
downward.
