ATTENTION
Damage to the device by improper handling
Collisions and shocks may damage the device.
f Avoid collisions and impacts.
f Use a soft base to set down the device.
f Do not use the bolts for fastening the front panel as a
transport aid or handle.
5.1
Choice of location
The unit is intended for permanent installation and for
indoor and outdoor use. A suitable location meets the fol-
lowing requirements:

Permissible ambient conditions are observed.
Î "5.2 Permitted environmental conditions"
The following minimum distances to other objects (e. g.
walls) must be complied with:
Distance to the left and right: 300 mm
Distance upward: 300 mm
Operating mode "Backend-System": The mobile net-
work for connection to the Backend-System must be
fully available at the location.
The device and the charging station are in sufficient
proximity to each other, depending on the charging
cable used.

If the device is operated in potentially explosive atmos-
pheres (explosive area), explosive substances may ignite
due to sparking of components of the device.
f Do not use charging cable in potentially-explosive
atmospheres (e.g. at gas filling stations)

Device damage due to unsuitable ambient conditions
Unsuitable ambient conditions can result in device dama-
ge.
f Avoid direct sunlight.
If necessary, install the weather protection cover.
f Protect the device from a direct water jet.
f Ensure adequate ventilation of the device.
Do not install in niches.
f Keep device away from heat sources.
f Avoid strong temperature fluctuations.
