Do not override this safety feature except in very rare cases ! Your

20. Safety cut-off in case of a defect in the vacuum system

The LABOROTA 20 control has a special monitoring function for the vacuum.
Disconnected vacuum hoses, broken glass parts, defective vacuum pump, and lack of vacuum
from the central vacuum supply are recognized during distillation. These are recognized when a
previously set pressure limit value is exceeded. When this limit value is exceeded, distillation is
stopped by the „Emergency" function.
Description:
The vacuum sensor, which is installed to display and regulate the distillation pressure, is used for
monitoring the pressure in the glass set. If the pressure rises above a limit value of 900 mbar, for
example, with the vacuum regulation activated, distillation is stopped by the „Emergency" function:
The heating bath lift automatically moves downward,
The heater and rotation stop,
The system is aerated,
Continuous buzzer,
