5. Installation

The installation instructions for both door locks (DT 700c / DT 710c) can be found in separate
documents.
They can be accessed via the QR code on the enclosed information sheet or under the
respective catalogue number at www.hafele.com

5.1 Installation references for fire resistance

DANGER
Risk due to unsealed drill hole!
With fire resistant doors, the drill hole of the profile cylinder must be sealed so that no
flames can penetrate through.
• Only use a single profile cylinder with fire protection approval for the emergency
opening.
Planning may only be carried out by DIALOCK specialists. Door fittings for fire
resistant and smoke control doors, e.g. the DT 700c / DT 710c, must be approved by
the door manufacturer. If the terminal is installed without this approval, the Fire and
Smoke Control Certificate for the fire resistant or smoke control door will be
invalidated.

5.4 Function test

After completing installation, perform a manual function test.
Push the lever handle at the inside of the door:
Correct result:
• Latch bolt is pulled back (escape function).
• Door can always be opened.
Push the lever handle at the outside of the door:
Correct result:
• The lever handle is blocked.
• The door cannot be opened.
If this is not the case, check the individual installation steps.

