Cleaning and care

Notes
D Do not apply any caustic cleaners to the control panel or rotary switches.
D Do not spray off or clean the appliance with water hoses, high-pressure cleaners, high-pres­
sure steam cleaners or general steam cleaners.
D Follow the instructions supplied by the manufacturer of the cleaning product.
D Do not use any scouring cleaning product or damaged cleaning scrapers. These cause
scratches.
D Stainless steel must not be in prolonged contact with concentrated acids, vinegar essence,
salt solution, mustard or spice mixtures, otherwise the protective coating will be corroded.
After use, rinse stainless steel surfaces until water runs clear.
Cleaning and maintenance products
Suitable cleaning and maintenance products can be obtained from your customer service.
These include e.g.:
− Grease-dissolving cleaning products or special stainless steel cleaners,
− Grill cleaners for stainless steel,
− Protective stainless steel cleaners,
− Maintenance emulsion for frying surfaces.

Griddle pan: removing fried residues/remains

Splash guard
Catch tray
. Turn off appliance and let it cool down.
. Empty the catch tray and replace.
. Clean the griddle with a grease-dissolving
detergent and a brush or with a stainless
steel pan cleaner.
Griddle
. Remove dark spots on the surface with a
vinegar cleaner and a stainless steel pan
cleaner.
. Rinse the griddle and catch tray thoroughly
with clean water and rub dry.
. Spray griddle with food quality maintenance
emulsion. Distribute the maintenance emul­
sion evenly with kitchen roll.
