Finishing work
. Turn rotary switch to the 0 position.
D The indicator light or the illuminated ring goes out.
. Clean the appliance, see the 4. "Cleaning and care" section below.
. Turn off the mains switch.

Cleaning and care
Notes
D Do not apply any caustic cleaners to the control panel or rotary switches.
D Do not spray off or clean the appliance with water hoses, high‐pressure cleaners,
high‐pressure steam cleaners or general steam cleaners.
D Follow the instructions supplied by the manufacturer of the cleaning product.
D Do not use any scouring cleaning product or damaged cleaning scrapers. These cause
scratches.
D Stainless steel must not be in prolonged contact with concentrated acids, vinegar essence,
salt solution, mustard or spice mixtures, otherwise the protective coating will be corroded.
Rinse stainless steel surfaces clean and rub them dry after use.
Cleaning and maintenance products
Suitable cleaning and maintenance products can be obtained from your customer service.
These include e.g.:
− grease‐dissolving cleaning products or special stainless steel cleaners,
− protective stainless steel cleaners,
− cleaning products and cleaning scrapers for ceramic surfaces.

Clean frying surface
4.1.1
Removing frying residue
. Turn off appliance and let it cool down.
. Push in Gastronorm container and fit drain plug.
. Fill roasting pan with approximately 3 litres of hot water. Add rinsing agent and vinegar
cleaner and clean with a cleaning brush or with a stainless steel pan cleaner.
. Drain off cleaning residue into the Gastronorm container: Clean the waste pipe thoroughly
with a round brush while draining the washing lye.
. Wash plug in the dishwasher or by hand using a grease‐dissolving detergent.
. Remove dark spots on the surface with vinegar cleaner and stainless steel pan cleaner.
. Rinse roasting pan and waste pipe thoroughly with water and rub dry.
. Spray roasting pan with food quality cream cleaner. Distribute the cream cleaner evenly with
a kitchen towel.
