Fry
You can use this program either separately or as a step for "Pilaf", "Soup" or
other programs. Although frying is not seen as a healthy way to cook food,
it is leading in terms of taste. Moreover, it is the fastest way to cook a good
meat, fish or poultry dish.
Frying for a short period of time, as may be required prior to the main coo-
king process for some dishes, such as pilaf, ragout or soup, retains almost
all of the nutritional value of food. Thanks to the ceramic coating, the Multi
Cooker allows for using as little oil or other fat as possible. In this program,
you can cook with the lid both open and closed.
Stew
Stewing is one of the most common ways to cook. The Multi Cooker offers
features that perfectly fit the purpose. Thanks to gentle temperature condi-
tions and an enclosed space, the list of dishes you will be able to cook using
this program is endless. By combining various kinds of meat, vegetables and
cereals, you can make your menu as diverse as possible.
Soup
Traditionally, soup is the basis of a full lunch. The most delicious soups are
those simmered in a pot in an oven. You are lucky if you can cook soup
this way. If not, the Chef Two Multi Cooker can perfectly reproduce the
conditions of cooking in an oven. The thick walls of the inner pot, ceramic
coating, uniform heating and an enclosed space will help make your soups
flavorous and nourishing. The program is also suitable for cooking different
clear and cream soups.
Simmer
Preparation of some meat, vegetable, fruit and milk dishes involves simme-
ring at the temperature of about 85ºC for a long period of time. Gentle tem-
perature conditions and tightness of the Chef Two Multi Cooker provide the
same cooking conditions as in a real Russian oven. This way of cooking has
been proven over the centuries and ensures that the nutritional value and
flavors of all the ingredients will be carefully kept intact. Most importantly,
it will give a unique taste to your dishes.
Steamer
Use this program to cook in the healthiest way, by steam. This way of coo-
king is rightfully considered as dietary and hence good for your health and
figure. Steam cooking retains most of the nutritional value of food, while
keeping fat content at a minimum. With the "Steamer" program, you can
cook almost any food, including meat, seafood, poultry, vegetables, eggs,
dough products, etc. Feel free to try new combinations and add seasonings,
herbs and spices. This will make your steamed dishes extremely healthy, but
equally tasty as those cooked in a conventional way.
Bake
In the "Bake" program, the Chef Two Multi Cooker functions as an oven. It
is excellent for cooking sweet and savory pastries, such as biscuits, casse-
roles, cakes and pies, and is also ideal for baking meat, poultry and vege-
tables.
Cereals
This program is suitable for cooking all kinds of rice, buckwheat and other
cereals. Cereals are an integral part of a healthy diet and the healthiest
option for a breakfast or side dish. Cooking in the Chef Two Multi Cooker
will retain all the nutritional value and appetizing appearance of cereals.
This will enable you to significantly diversify your diet, for example, by sup-
plementing it with exotic cereals, such as quinoa or bulgur.
Express
We often fail to eat healthy due to lack of time for cooking rather than lack
of intention. This can be changed by using the Express function of the Multi
Cooker. This program will help you shorten the cooking time of cereals. Use
the Express Cooking feature for preparing no more than 4 servings. Forget
about eating unhealthy snacks between meals or incomplete lunch. The
"Express" program will fit even into a busy schedule.
Milk Porridge
Milk porridge offers a perfect and healthy combination of milk and cereals.
The time-consuming cooking process can be entrusted to the "Milk Por-
ridge" program. When cooking in the Chef Two Multi Cooker, the cereals
will be easily cooked soft, the milk will not run over and you will not have
to stay at the stove all the time. The Delayed Start feature will give you
extra time to sleep in the morning and the Keep Warm function will keep
your breakfast warm as long as necessary. You can change the viscosity of
porridge by varying the amount of liquid and cereals, and various additives
can make your breakfast not only healthy, but also delicious.
NOTE: Some foodstuffs, such as milk, produce rich foam when boiled.
Keep this in mind when cooking milk porridge. Do not use more than 3
measuring cups of cereals (3 to 5 servings). Add butter or make a butter rim
on the inside of the pot, 5 or 7 cm from the top edge before starting to cook.
Pilaf
Pilaf is a traditional Uzbek dish which has firmly established itself on the
Russian table. The program is based on the general essence of the process
for cooking pilaf, where meat is fried with vegetables and then stewed with
cereals. The program is perfect for cooking both classic meat and rice pilaf
and its different variations. Replace meat with vegetables or dried fruit to
cook a wonderful vegetarian meal or side dish. By replacing rice with pasta
or buckwheat, you will be able to offer your family delicious pasta Bologne-
se or buckwheat with meat.
Ragout
Variations of ragout exist almost in every cuisine of the world. All these can
be successfully cooked in the Chef Two Multi Cooker, while exerting much
less effort than the traditional recipe. Thanks to the tightness of the Multi
Cooker, the dish will be saturated with flavors, and electronic temperature
control will ensure that all the ingredients are cooked to an optimal degree.
Meat will be amazingly tender and soft and vegetables will not only keep
their original shape, but also the nutritional value.
