Installation instructions

Safety instructions
Read the installation instructions carefully before work and
follow them.
Close the gas cylinder and quick acting valve in the gas sup-
ply line to the heater.
Remove battery cable terminals and disconnect any external
electrical power before starting work. If you are unsure about
the electrical installation, have it checked out by a qualified
Auto Electrician.
An electro-static charge can destroy the electronics.
Ensure potential equalisation before touching the
electronics.

Important information
The figures show the installation on the right.
Remove cover
Only remove the cover with the heating switched off
and cold.

By simultaneously pressing both closure levers (1) outwards,
the cover is unlocked. It can be pivoted out and lifted out of
the lower bearings.

– Set the control knob (6 – gas) to "0" and pull out.
– Remove the cover (4).
– Remove the electrode cable (18) and earth cable (14) from
the Piezo ignitor (13).
– Dismantle the Piezo ignitor (13) by pressing these lugs at
the side and pushing them at the same time. Dispose of the
earth cable (14) and Piezo ignitor (13) correctly.
– Close the unused opening with a blank cover (8).
The blank cover (8) has a large and a small lug. Therefore
do not press into the cover with force. Ensure the lugs
are in the correct position during assembly.
