INSTALLATION, START -UP, AND SERVICE
•
Place the unpacked scales where you intend to use them. Make sure that the sur-
face under the scales is hard and dry.
•
Carefully unpack the sensor head and the mounting pole and set then aside next
to the packaging.
•
Check the correct condition of the components (is the display covered with pro-
tective foil?)
•
Take out the platform and set it aside.
•
Adjust the position of the 4 feet so that the air bubble in the spirit level is right in
the middle in the mounting pole holder. Such positioning ensures even distribution
of weight.
•
Carefully mount the sensor head on the mounting pole (pull the cable slightly and
check if it is tense).
•
Remove 4 hexagon bolts from the packaging and, tightening the screws gently
crosswise, fix the sensor head on the holder provided.
•
Now connect the scales power cable to the mains (the power LED comes on).
EN
•
Turn on the scales using the main I/O switch located on the back of the device.
PLEASE NOTE
Before switching the scales on, remove the load from the platform! The device must
not be loaded during storage. These precautions will ensure the proper functioning of
the scales when switched on.

WARNING AND DEVICE STATUS SIGNALS
BATTERY STATUS (LB)
If the battery level indicator (Batterie) flashes on the display, about one hour of
power to operate the scales is still left. The scales should be connected to the mains.
After connecting the scales to the mains, the battery level indicator stops blinking and
the AC diode lights up. It takes at least 4 hours to fully charge the batteries.
