INSTALLATION
Since installation should be made exclusively by specialized personnel, only the main elements to be taken into
consideration are listed below.
After taking the machine with its pallet to the place of installation, remove it from the pallet by taking our the screws
fastening it and apply the handles for transport, inserting them in the holes provided and fastening them with the nuts
and washers supplied. After positioning the unit, remove the handles and keep them to use again whenever the machine
has to be moved.
In case of need, the handles should be ordered from ARNEG S.p.A.
3.1
SITE OF INSTALLATION
The units should be installed exclusively in specially prepared technical sites, where there is no continuous presence of
personnel.
Access to the premises should be permitted only for specialized personnel assigned to perform maintenance, for the
time necessary to perform the operations.
In the design and construction of the premises, it is necessary to consider the problems that can arise under normal and
abnormal operating conditions such as:
-
Risk of fire due to electrical breakdowns
-
Risk of intoxication due to leakage of refrigerating gas
-
Oil leaks
-
Noise problems
Reference should always be made to the regulations in effect in the place of installation.
3.1.1 DIMENSIONS
The units should be positioned so as to leave enough room around them for operations of maintenance.
We consider it essential to provide an "escape route" for the personnel assigned to maintenance.
Fig. 6 is a drawing of a possible machine room designed to house the condensing units.
The doors on the power panels and other parts or events should not obstruct the escape route.
The place of installation should have a minimum ceiling height of 3 m, to ensure enough room for maintenance and
handling.
