The technical file stipulates that the Maximum Pressure Allowed for the system is 28 bar. From EN 378-2; Tab. 2 ; the
calibration for the Pressure Limiting Device (without discharge device) must be the same or lower than the maximum
pressure allowed:

Since Ps = 28 bar, the calibration setting for the safety pressure switches on the high pressure side of the system is taken
as:

The calibration of these pressure switches (SRMCR) must be made in the factory or before starting the system, by
specialized personnel
In some cases double pressure switches are used incorporating control of the low pressure of the system. Since the
safety of the system concerns the high pressure side, the low pressure side is considered as the control.
In case of high pressure, the pressure switches, whether single or double, must be reset manually using the reset button
when the pressure drops 4 bar below the calibrated value.
