Reading Un.5 – reference mark (Fig. 121)

After the measuring run index the wheel following the
position reading and provide a crayon mark on the right
side of the tyre exactly perpendicular to and above the
main shaft.
D
Readjust the tyre on the rim such that the tyre mark co-
incides with the valve.
D
Clamp the tyre/rim assembly on the balancer and read-
just such that the valve is exactly perpendicular to and
above the main shaft.
D
Press the OP key to enter the valve position.
Reading Un.6 (Fig. 122) comes up.
D
Press the START key.
The second measuring run of the tyre/rim assembly is started.
After the measuring run three readings are possible:
=== – Un.7 (see Fig. 123)
Proceed with the Un program. It is recommended that the tyre
be turned over on the rim.
Un.7 – === (see Fig. 124)
Proceed with the Un program. It is recommended that the tyre
be adjusted on the rim.
H 0 (see Fig. 125)
Optimum condition has been achieved and cannot be im-
proved.
Depending on the readings, there are several possibilities for
proceeding with the program. These possibilities are described
below.

Après la lancée de mesure, orienter la roue suivant l'affi-
chage de direction et tracer un repère à la craie exacte-
ment perpendiculaire à et au-dessus de l'arbre principal
du côté droit du pneu.

Tourner le pneu sur la jante jusqu'à ce que le repère sur
le pneu coïncide avec la valve.
D
Serrer l'ensemble pneu/jante sur la machine et le tourner
jusqu'à ce que la valve soit exactement perpendiculaire
à et au-dessus de l'arbre principal.
D
Appuyer sur la touche OP pour entrer la position de la
valve.
L'affichage Un.6 (Fig. 122) apparaît alors.

Appuyer sur la touche START.
La deuxième lancée de mesure est initialisée. Après la lancée
de mesure, trois affichages sont possibles:

Poursuivre le programme Un. Il est recommandé de renverser
le pneu sur la jante.
Un.7 – === (voir Fig. 124)
Poursuivre le programme Un. Il est recommandé de tourner le
pneu sur la jante.
H 0 (voir Fig. 125)
La condition optimale est déjà atteinte et ne peut pas être amé-
liorée.
Suivant les affichages, diverses possibilités existent de
poursuivre le programme. Ces possibilités sont indiquées
ci-dessous.
