Display description

The display shows three main menus: the Surveyor HL main menu, the Sonde HL main menu and
the Communications Module main menu. Refer to
At startup, the Surveyor HL main menu shows. Push the LEFT or RIGHT arrow to scroll through the
three main menus. The three dots at the top of the screen identify the main menu that is currently
shown.
Note: "Device" shows instead of "Sonde HL" at the top of the Sonde HL main menu when the instrument is not
connected to a sonde.
Each main menu shows the menu options for the instrument (Surveyor HL, Sonde HL or
Communications Module). For example, when Overview is selected from the Sonde HL main menu,
the status of the sonde shows. But when Overview is selected from the Surveyor HL main menu, the
status of the Surveyor HL shows.
When shows at the bottom of the display and is pushed, a fourth dot is added to the top of the
display. This fourth dot is for the current menu. Push the LEFT or RIGHT arrow to scroll through the
three main menus and the current menu.
To toggle between the current screen and the main menus at any time, push
5 Backspace: Erases the last character
6 Go Back: Shows the previous screen
7 Power: Sets the power to on or off
