and XPV2- in INGECON SUN 3Play TL M. Remember that not all models of the unit have the same rated
current for each input.
4. To make the connection, strip an 18 mm section of wire in INGECON SUN 3Play TL M or 24 mm in
INGECON SUN 3Play TL. Using a tubular terminal is optional.
5. Screw in the terminal with a torque of 5 Nm.
6. Secure the packing glands without pulling on the cables.
7. Reinstall the polycarbonate guard.
8. The DC cables must remain without voltage while the unit door is open.
On units with a DC switch (version S+), when powering the PV array, follow these steps:
9. Only connect string 1 in the external string box of the MPPT1.
10. Turn the DC switch to ON.
11. Check that at least one of the unit's display LED blinks. Otherwise, check the wiring polarity (in the
inverter and in the string box), turn the DC switch OFF and fix it.
12. Turn the DC switch to OFF.
13. In INGECON SUN 3Play TL M disconnect the string 1 wiring on the MPPT1 in the string box.
14. In INGECON SUN 3Play TL M, repeat steps 9 to 12, with the MPPT2 string 1.
15. Connect the remaining stings according to the polarities.
