These installation instructions describe the
external NET module control, its installation
and various applications with Waldmann
luminaires and other external components.
The installation instructions do not replace
the instructions for use of the luminaire.

use and the safety instructions and
warnings contained therein.

VTL

VTL is an autonomously working light man-
agement system. VTL is used to simulate
the natural course of daylight with the cor-
responding colour temperature and illumi-
nance. This positively influences hormone
production and supports the biological
rhythm in a natural way.

NET module

Biodynamic light (VTL) for room lumi-
naires
The NET module control allows use of the
VTL light management system for biody-
namic lighting and thus natural light effect
of the room-oriented luminaires. To this
end, several suspended, recessed and sur-
face-mounted luminaires can be connected
to NET module via DALI.
The luminaires automatically simulate the
natural light according to the particular time
of day. Changes in light take place every
minute over the course of the day and are
thus hardly perceptible.
