2.3 Mount the V-brackets

The shaft V-bracket with a rod mounted
magnetic bar holder is attached to stationary
machine shaft.
Note:
The stationary (S) side is the side of the
machine which will not be adjusted.
This is usually the driven machine, eg pump.
For shafts with diameter < 40 mm
(< 1.5") hook the chain onto the anchor in
the V-bracket from the inside. For larger
diameters hook the chain from the outside.
Remove the slack of the chain and tighten it
irmly with the tensioning knob.
Attach the other shaft bracket to the movable
machine shaft usually the driver machine eg
electric motor. Try to keep a short distance
between the shaft brackets.
