Mounting tip:
All reference bars have a thickness of
3 mm (0.12 in) and can be used as a feeler
gauge. Hold a second reference bar on top
of the i rst. Adjust the measuring unit on
the rods so the sensor touches the second
bar. Secure the position with a locking knob,
remove the second "feeler gauge" bar and
i rmly tighten the two locking knobs.
Line up the shaft brackets and tighten them
i rmly with the tensioning knobs.
Mounting tip:
Align the sensors in the centre of the bar.
Measuring tip:
Make sure the measuring unit and the
reference bar remain aligned during the
measurements as shown in this image.
Note:
Make sure the reference bar covers the two inductive proximity sensors.
