For retrofit dowelling on exisiting core drills or for screwing onto housing. Facilitates gastight and watertight
connection of system seals for cables and cable ducts.
2 General information
• Any nationally applicable regulations from the pipe manufacturers regarding the installation
and backfilling of pipework must be followed!
• Compact the foundations and cable support well before laying the cables/pipes to prevent
settlements of cables/pipes sinking.
• The incorrect laying of cables or ducts and improper filling of the cable trench causes settle-
ment, which can lead to damage and leaks.

3 Safety instructions
• It is important to protect the HSI150-DFK flange from damage, moisture and impurities
during installation. Check that all necessary components have been delivered and that
they are not damaged. You must not install damaged components.
• System cover installation must comply with the relevant professional association regulations,
VDE provisions, national safety and accident prevention regulations as well as company
regulations (work and procedural instructions).
• Cables or pipes shall not apply any load on the HSI 150-DFK flange mechanically.
• Do not use solvent-based cleaning agents to clean the HSI150-DFK flange! We recommend
using cable cleaner KR M.T.X.
