• A tested emergency exit locking system consists of the following elements: locking
unit, lock plate, door furniture set, profile cylinder, if required.
• Function of the emergency exit locking system:
- locking by turning the key 1 x 360°
(exception: panicLock AP 179 AV3 OR - automatic locking)
- unlocking by turning the key 1 x 360°
(exception: panicLock AP 179 AV3 OR max. 270°)
It is to be ensured that the free movement of the cam of the cylinder is given after
the key removing position.
• All hooks and the deadbolt are in extended position and blocked.
• The locking elements can be opened by actuating the handle with a flick of the wrist.
