10) After the installation of the emergency exit locking element:
Inspection and mechanic actuation of the emergency exit locking system to ensure
that all parts of the system are in a satisfactory operating condition. The actuation
forces for the release of the emergency escape door lock must be measured with a
force gauge and recorded.
11) An emergency exit locking system must be constructed in such a way that the
door can swing out without any problems towards the escape direction after being
released.
12) An emergency exit locking system produced according to this standard is construc-
ted for the installation at door sashes which are not heavier than 200 kg, not higher
than 2500 mm and not wider than 1300 mm, overlap included.
13) Emergency exit locking systems must be constructed in such a way that the furni-
ture set can be installed at a distance of 150 mm or less from the front edge of the
closed door.

14) (Outer) actuation units must not prevent the emergency exit door locking system to
be operated from the inside, neither with the door locked nor unlocked.
