1. Assemble the device as described in the chapter "Assembling the device", section
"Floor cleaner".
2. To quickly unwind the mains cord, turn the hook for the cable winder (2) down and
pull the mains cord off.
3. Insert the mains plug in a properly installed socket that is easily accessible.
4. Set the On/Off switch (9) on the main unit to the I position.
5. As soon as the device has reached the operating temperature, the device will emit
steam.
6. Start with fl oor cleaning. Loosen the upright position by placing one foot on the clean-
ing head and tilting the steam cleaner. Move the cleaning head slowly back and forth
across the surface to be cleaned.
8. If the water tank (10) is empty and no more steam is produced, set the On/Off switch
(9) of the main unit to the 0 position and pull the mains plug out of the socket. Refi ll
the water tank (see chapter "Filling the water tank"). Then continue cleaning the fl oor.
9. When you are fi nished cleaning, move the On/Off switch (9) on the main unit to the
0 position and pull the mains plug out of the socket. Allow the device to cool off com-
pletely before you empty the water tank and stow the device.
10. Turn the hook for the cable winder (2) up and wind up the cable.
11. Take the fl oor cleaning adapter off of the cleaning head and, if necessary, wash it with
warm water and a mild detergent.
12. Store the device upright in a cool and dry place. To stow the device, put it back in an
upright position (standing position). The joint on the cleaning head will engage and
the device will be locked in place.
13. Prior to using the device again, the water tank should always be checked for residual
water and be completely emptied if necessary.
Use as a fl oor mop
1. Assemble the device as described in the chapter "Assembling the device", section
"Floor cleaner".
2. Fill the bucket with water and, if necessary, add a small amount of a mild detergent.
Do not overfi ll the bucket! Only fi ll the bucket with enough water for immersing the
fl oor cleaning head.
7. If you would like to wash out the fl oor cleaning adapter
(13), set the On/Off switch (9) on the main unit to the 0
position. Fill the enclosed bucket with water and, if neces-
sary, add a mild detergent. Do not overfi ll the bucket! Only
fi ll the bucket with enough water for immersing the fl oor
cleaning head in it. Immerse the fl oor cleaning head (with
the fl oor cleaning adapter) in the water. Place the fl oor
cleaning head in the spin wringer in an upright position
and push down the spin wringer foot pedal until no more
excess water is wrung out of the fl oor cleaning adapter.
Then continue cleaning the fl oor.
