The position of the trim angle adjusting
rod determines the minimum trim angle
of the outboard motor in relation to the
transom.

tially to provide more clearance when
operating in shallow water.

WARNING INDICATOR LAMP
If the engine develops a condition which
is cause for warning, the lamp on the
front of the bottom cowling lights up. The
three lamps mounted on the bottom
cowling also indicate level of the engine
oil. Refer to the section "WARNING SYS-
TEM" for details of this function.
