output current
manually
Irrespective of what output amperage is selected, the output voltage is kept at a
constant 10 V DC. This means that there is a direct relationship between the selected
output amperage and the desired heating power.

Warning! Operating the machine incorrectly can cause serious injury & damage.
Before starting to use the power source for the first time, read the sections
headed:
-
Safety rules
-
Before putting the power source into service
-
Putting the power source into serviceand make sure that
-
the mains switch (G) is in the (O) position
-
the mains cable (I) is unplugged from the mains.
Warning! Preparing the machine for operation when the mains switch in the "I"
position, and the power source is still plugged into the mains, can be lethal. ONLY
make these preparations when the mains switch is in the "O" position and the
mains cable has been unplugged from the mains.
Plug the "plus" cable for the wire pre-heating unit onto the
twist to latch into place
Plug the "minus" cable for the wire pre-heating unit onto the
and twist to latch into place
When the output current is to be selected by an analogue signal: Plug the robot/
automatic-welder control cable onto connection socket (6)
Using the adjusting dial (2), set the desired output current to a value of between
10A and 150 A.
The power source can be run as standard
on a mains voltage of 230 VAC (+/- 15 %).
265 VAC
Thanks to its +/-15% tolerance range, it
can also be run on the 220 VAC or 240
VAC mains.
