2.4
Risks relating to exhaust gases
DANGER
For safety reasons and for correct operation of the unit, correct ventilation and complete evacuation of the exhaust gases is essential.
When running, the engine consumes oxygen and emits carbon monoxide: failure to renew the air or evacuate the exhaust gases can
result in serious material damage and cause illness or death in anyone exposed to these gases. If it is necessary to operate it inside
a building, all the exhaust gases must be evacuated outside and adequate ventilation must be provided so that any people or animals
present are not affected.

Risk of fire
DANGER
2.6
Risk of burns
IMPORTANT
When running and just after stopping, the oil, engine and the exhaust silencer are hot and may cause burns if contact is made.
2.7
Risks of magnetic interference
DANGER
Before any operation on the electrical generating set, seek medical advice.
2.8
Risk of hearing loss
DANGER
Refer to the "Technical specifications" paragraph for the sound pressure level at 1 m.
If the unit must be installed indoors: ensure that the sound level of the enclosure in the room is significantly reduced (then check this
by subsequently measuring the sound pressure level), ventilate the room, evacuate all exhaust gases and install a carbon monoxide
detector in the room.
RISK OF POISONING
DANGER OF DEATH
The carbon monoxide present in the exhaust gas may lead to death by inhalation if the concentration
levels in the atmosphere are too high.
Always use the unit in a well ventilated area where the gases cannot accumulate.
RISK OF FIRE
DANGER OF DEATH
Never operate the unit in areas containing flammable products (risk of sparks). Keep all flammable or
explosive materials (e.g. petrol, oil, cloth, etc.) out of the way when unit is running. Never cover the unit
with any type of material while it is in operation or just after it has been turned off: always wait until the
engine cools down (at least 30 minutes).
Before any intervention, wait for the unit to cool down (at least 30 minutes).
RISK OF ADVERSE EFFECTS: WEARERS OF A PACEMAKER
DANGER OF DEATH
The electromagnetic fields generated when the electrical generating set is running could affect
the operation of pacemakers.
Failure to observe the safety instructions could result in serious injuries or the death of those
concerned.
RISK OF HEARING LOSS
Suitable hearing protection must be worn at all times when the unit is running.
