b) Operation
Wear protective gloves when using the product.
• Before you begin, check that the switch is working correctly.
• Check whether the emergency switch (9) is pressed. If so, turn the red part of the emergency switch in the direction
of the arrow to release it.
• Press the up button (7) to lift the load.
• Press the down button (6) to lower the load.
• Press the up button (7) briefly to remove the slack in the rope. If necessary, keep the rope taut and guide it with
your hand before lifting the load. Always use suitable protective gloves. Never allow the rope to slide through your
bare hands.
• The load should be lifted from the ground at the lowest possible speed. The rope should be taut when the load is
lifted.
• Concentrate fully and do not allow yourself to become distracted.
• Do not leave hanging loads unattended without taking appropriate safety precautions. Secure the area under and
around the load with suitable equipment.
• Only use the stop/limit switch (13/14) in an emergency.
• Before you begin, ensure that the steel rope (12) is wrapped around the drum (15) correctly and that the distance
between the coils is smaller than the diameter of the rope (see diagrams below). The coils must be directly
adjacent to one another and must not overlap.
Incorrect
When lifting/lowering the hoist without a load, we recommend that you keep the rope taut to ensure that the
rope coils around the roller correctly. Always use suitable protective gloves. Never allow the rope to slide
through your bare hands.
• Ensure that the load is secured to the hook (10) (or loading hook (17) when used as a pulley). Always keep your
distance from the load and rope (12).
• When the maximum height is reached, the stop weight (11) moves the stop switch lever (13) upwards. This activates
the stop switch and switches the motor off to prevent the load from moving.
• When the minimum height is reached, the limit switch (14) is activated to prevent the load from dropping further.
This switch also prevents the hoist from moving in the wrong direction (i.e. the hook moves in the opposite direction
to the direction indicated on the control box).
