c) Connection
• The mains socket that the hoist is connected to must be protected with a 10 A fuse or a 10 A residual current circuit
breaker.
• Connect the mains plug to a suitable mains socket or an extension cable.
• The cable hoist is now ready to use.
9. Before first use
Follow the instructions below before using the hoist for the first time:
• Read the operating instructions carefully.
• Only configure the device when the mains cable is unplugged.
• The cable hoist has a lifespan of approximately 8000 cycles (excluding wearing parts). All mechanical parts must
be checked and serviced when the hoist has completed 8000 cycles.
• Ensure that the person using the hoist knows how the product functions and is aware of the necessary safety
precautions.
• Secure the large mounting screw on the loading hook (18) using
the nut, and then tighten the other two screws and nuts. Do not
overtighten the screws, otherwise the pulley may not run smoothly.
• Use a suitable spanner or other tool to hold the screws in place.
Hold the screw head firmly while tightening the nut.
• Caution! Do not clamp the wire rope to the sides of the panel, as
this may damage the rope. It must sit exactly in the guide slot on
the roller.
